20.02.2025A Day of Science, HPC, and Regional Cooperation
The day began with sessions dedicated to the presentation of scientific papers, where researchers from various fields of information technology showcased the latest results of their studies. Participants had the opportunity to engage in interactive discussions, analyzing key topics and challenges in the industry. At the same time, a poster session took place, allowing researchers and PhD students to present their projects and ideas through direct communication with conference attendees.
Special attention was given to the EuroCC2/EuroCC4SEE workshop, which brought together students, researchers and experts in the field of HPC. The first part of the workshop focused on innovations, technical migration strategies, and skills development, while the second part, in the form of a roundtable discussion, provided expert consultations and networking opportunities between academic and industry partners. In addition to the workshops, EUROCC4SEE held a working meeting, where representatives of National Competence Centers (NCCs) analyzed current challenges and opportunities for improving collaboration.
The day concluded with an informal gathering at the HPC networking event at the restaurant "Međed", where participants had the opportunity to continue discussions and establish new partnerships in a relaxed atmosphere. This combination of expert sessions, workshops, and informal gatherings once again highlighted the IT 2025 conference as a key platform for knowledge exchange and strengthening collaboration between academia and industry.
