The 29th scientific and professional conference IT 2025 has started

Today, the 29th scientific and professional conference of Information Technology (IT 2025) officially started in Žabljak. During the first day, four sections were held, two in person - in the conference rooms of Hotel Žabljak and Hotel Gorske oči - while the remaining two were organized virtually.
The participants of the section in the hall of the Žabljak Hotel had the opportunity to hear the presentations of the authors who presented the results of their research in the field of maritime robotics, multi-agent systems management, Digital Twin platforms, underwater acoustic communications, simulation of the spread of oil spills and the development of Zero Trust architecture.
In the hall of the Gorske oči hotel, software engineering works were presented, including MLOps tools, automation in the cloud environment, database optimization, user interface validation, and the application of computational intelligence techniques for similarity modeling. The performance of parallel programming, the efficiency of GPT-generated conceptual models, the application of Big Data technologies in the pharmaceutical industry, as well as implementation idioms in the architecture of business applications were also considered.
The first virtual section was devoted to the application of modern artificial intelligence techniques, including large language models (LLMs), quantum computing, convolutional neural networks, and blockchain technology. The papers presented dealt with crowd analysis, video analytics, medical diagnostics, recognition of human actions, and detection of deepfake content.
In the second virtual section, the results of research focused on the application of artificial intelligence in sentiment analysis in finance, medical diagnostics (larynx and skin cancer), security in mHealth systems, object tracking via multiple cameras, and image segmentation for precise measurement of object size are presented.
The plenary part of the program was dedicated to disseminating the results of the research projects EuroCC2/EuroCC4SEE, TRACEWINDU, AI AGE, NEST4WB, FishEUTrust, Danube DNA, MontEDIH, DERHE, GenAI HPC4WB, COMMECT, and EUREKA.
On the first day of the conference, 70 participants participated in the activities. The break between sessions was used for a joint lunch in the restaurant at the Savin Kuk ski resort. The working day was rounded off with a welcome cocktail in a pleasant atmosphere, with conversations and an exchange of experiences among the participants.
